COURSE DESCRIPTION
This two day course is designed to present comprehensive review of all facets of acute and critical care. It will review anatomy, physiology, assessment/diagnostics, pathophysiology, and treatment options for diseases commonly encountered in the critical care setting. Case studies will be incorporated to bridge theory and practice and the course may be used as a CCRN/PCCN preparatory course or as a review for practicing Acute & Critical Care nurses. The program follows AACNs blueprint for the CCRN/PCCN examination.
COURSE SPECIFICS
The course packet includes a comprehensive booklet. Certificates for contact hours will be e-mailed to the participant after the activity; NO confirmation letters will be sent to registrants.

CONTACT HOURS
CHRISTUS Trinity Mother Frances Health System is an approved provider of continuing nursing education (CNE) by the Texas Nurses Association-Approver, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.
To receive contact hours for this CNE activity, the participant must: sign in at registration desk, attend entire activity (unless partial attendance is allowed), and complete the evaluation tool within specified time frame. Once successful completion has been verified, a “Certificate of Successful Completion” will be awarded for up to 14.5 contact hours (7.25 contact hours per day).
- This CNE activity is jointly provided by CHRISTUS Trinity Mother Frances Health System collaboratively with the Greater East Texas Chapter of AACN (GET AACN).
